A-Star Sports showcased on Granada Reports’ summer feature – the ‘Granada Games’

A-Star Sports (Chester & surrounding areas) was proudly showcased in the ‘Granada Games’ for Granada Reports on Friday 27th July – the eve of the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics.

ITV’s Caroline Whitmore visited the A-Star Sports team and children in Chester on Tuesday 24th July to get to grips with the ins and outs of the game of Dodgeball.

The feature includes interviews with A-Star Sports’ co-founder, director and coach, Sharon Bassett, and the children attending this summer’s multi-sports holiday club.

Filming took place at Cheshire’s premier sporting venue and home of the local A-Star Sports holiday club – Cheshire County Sports Club.   Thanks to the ITV team’s support, the full film can be seen below:
