Sports’ Secret Weapon: Sleep | Psychology Today:
According to Psychology Today, sport’s secret weapon is sleep. Having studied athletes in swimming, football (American), Tennis and Basketball, they highlighted that increasing sleep brought cognitive benefits (memory, learning, reaction time and focus), promoted muscle recovery and reduced stress. We think the right amount of sleep is important for everyone, whether you’re an athlete, a hard-working parent or one of our little ‘stars’ who has a class today :)
