Our Story: Over a Decade of A-Star Excellence

Founded in 2011, A-Star Sports was created to provide a fun-filled, multi-sports experience that puts children at the heart of the action. For over a decade, we have been dedicated to our mission: to make sport as fun and enjoyable as possible, opening up new avenues to ensure activity is accessible for all abilities and helping to develop healthy, well-rounded children.

Our core team is made up of Gary and Mark who work all year round delivering fun filled activities across all of our 4 key areas. Our wider Holiday club team come together at every school holiday. We pride ourselves on providing a supportive working environment to ensure that our team is highly motivated and passionate to support the children. Over the years we’ve had a number of former A-Star children return to work with us!

A-Star Sports is more than just a job, it is our livelihood. We love what we do and look forward to seeing the children have fun and develop their skills and confidence each and every week.

The A-Star Journey (Ages 3-12)

Our program is designed to grow with your child, providing a positive environment where they can flourish physically, socially, and emotionally.

The Foundation: We begin with an initial ABC-based programme, focusing on the essential building blocks of Agility, Balance, and Co-ordination.
The Core 12: As children progress, they dive into our core rotation of 12 sports: Basketball, Cricket, Dodgeball, Football, Handball, Hockey, Rounders, Rugby, Tennis, and Volleyball, Golf, Athletics
Discovery Sports: To keep things fresh, our journey includes additional sports inspired by sport in the news,' giving children the chance to discover even more ways to play!
