Community support programme a big hit at Campie Primary School
A fine example of our community support programme in action is Franchise Owner Brian Droudge’s recent visit to Campie Primary School.
The staff at the school put together a wonderful montage of the activities that took place and commented: “Primary 3 had a fantastic sports taster session led by Brian from A-Star Sports. The children enjoyed playing lots of team games. One of their favourites was the ‘Everlasting Gobstopper’ game! We would once again like to thank Brian for volunteering to come in cialis buy and give our children a fun filled, exciting and super sports session today.”
A-Star Sports runs a community support programme to help nurseries, schools and local clubs / groups. Local franchise owners commit to working with at least two of these groups in a community context every month free-of-charge. Sessions are offered on a first-come-first served basis and are very popular!
Part of this community support role is to reinforce a joint approach to balanced, healthy activity and a commitment to helping children to enjoy sport for life. This includes bringing new ideas to community-based environments and developing innovative and active solutions for teachers and activity leaders alike to use in their individual settings.
